Following the path uphill away from the amphitheater and towards the Forcone Basin, we see here a Roman copy of a Greek statue, "Ceres", the Roman goddess of agriculture (the Greeks called her "Demeter"). It is flanked by two Roman statues meant to represent types of Romans rather than any specific Roman; at left, "Togaed"; and at right, "Emperor".
